Mentor Handbook Overview
The Mentor Handbook, developed with the Spokane Veterans Court and fellow mentors, is a guide to support mentors in serving their mentees effectively. Updated in October 2022, this living document complements the monthly Mentor Training sessions, which provide essential skills and knowledge.
Mentor Qualifications:
- Pass criminal and personal background checks.
- Must be a veteran with honorable or medical discharge, currently serving, or a graduate of the VET Court program (with a six-month waiting period post-graduation).
